The pre-race concert with Tranzfusion is Friday, May 17th starting at 6 pm.
The powerboat races are Saturday, May 18th and Sunday May 19th starting around 10:30 am.
Race is held on the Choptank River in Cambridge, MD. You can enter Gerry Boyle Park in Google Maps and most GPS's and it will get you there.
This link will show where the park is:
There is no entrance fee. We do ask for a $5 donation per vehicle on Saturday & Sunday and a $10 donation per vehicle on Friday. The donation is to help cover the cost of the race and programs we provide.
Boy Scouts will be on site making funnel cakes and snow cones. We will have food and dessert trucks. The drink station will have beer (draft and can), orange crushes, sports drinks, soda and water. You CANNOT bring food or drink into the park.
There will T-shirts from CPBRA and from the Hills Point Gang available for purchase.
Pit passes will be for sale at the CPBRA tent for $20 each. You must have closed toe shoes on to enter the pits.
From land Gerry Boyle Park at Great Marsh provides the best views. There will be bleachers set up for spectators but you may want to bring your own folding chairs for greater comfort. You can also watch from your boat in the river.
Weather permitting parking is on the lawn at Gerry Boyle Park, just a few steps away from the races. There will be a parking tent as you approach the park that will collect your donation, give you a program, and direct you to parking. If off-site parking is required we will post that information the week of the race. There are handicap parking spaces available.
Well behaved dogs on a leash are welcome at the event.
The Kid's Zone is expanding this year and it is a place for the young ones to be entertained. Cascading Carlos will be featured again this year: https://www.cascadingcarlos.com/. Other games and activities will be available. There is no cost to enter the Kid's Zone thanks to sponsor Koski Enterprises. There are also several other play areas that are always in the park.
There will be multiple portable toilets and handwashing stations at the park.
Becoming a sponsor or placing an advertisement in the Race Program and both great ways to engage. Click Here for more details.
